Private Practice: The Complete Fifth Season DVD Review

Synopsis: From the creators of Grey’s Anatomy, comes the fifth season of ABC’s sexy, medical drama, Private Practice. Addison and her Oceanside Wellness family are faced with new challenges as unexpected people enter and complicate their lives. From a sexy new doctor to an illegitimate son, the lives and loves of these doctors are put to the test. Bring home ABC’s Private Practice: The Complete Fifth Season on and relive every memorable moment plus never-before-seen bonus features only on DVD.

Review: Its not too often that spinoff shows end up holding their own on have Frazier and a few others, but most of them fail miserably.  Private Practice, a spinoff of Grey's Anatomy, has managed to find its own individual voice almost immediately, despite a few crossovers with Greys.  The show has touched on everything over the years from love affairs to obsessive crazies cutting out babies...its all there, every intense moment.  This season, the fifth season, is the last season that we get the full cast.  Tim Daly won't be a part of season six and Kate Walsh is said to be leaving sometime during the next season.  All the more reason to enjoy this season on DVD and relish it while it lasts.  This season was full of phenominal drama and character developments, sure to make any fan swoon.

The special features on this DVD include: The Practice Of Parenthood -- Filmmakers And Cast Discuss The Addition Of Children To The Series This Season, The Different Kinds Of Family The Show Explores, And How Being A Parent Affects The Cast, Both As Actors And In Their Personal Lives

Interest Range: Drama, TV Shows
