| In 1972, "The New Scooby-Doo Movies" premiered. Two of these "movies" featured guest appearances by none other than Batman and Robin! In the first movie, "The Dynamic Scooby-Doo Affair", Scooby and the gang help Batman and Robin stop Joker and the Penguin from stealing a flight suit from Professor Flakey. In the second film, "The Caped Crusader Caper", the gang help the dynamic duo catch a counterfeiter, again with appearances by Joker and the Penguin! These were subsequently re-run well into the 1980s. These "movies" have been released on DVD under the title of "Scooby-Doo Meets Batman". The DVD should be available on Amazon.com or in your local retail store. |
