| Legions of Gotham is the epicenter for Batman merchandise collectors. Our primary focus is, and always has been, the collector and the companies. Naturally, LoG has become well known throughout much of the industry, due to the large amount of collectors that frequent our site. We've been fortunate enough to give advice on upcoming product and greatly assist in fan interaction, opinion and promotion to companies like Mattel, Monogram Direct, Art Asylum, Lego and more! If you work with a company that merchandises Batman or DC related product, and would like the assistance of LoG in developing and or promoting your product, please feel free to contact us. LoG logo found on Bootleg Batman merchandise December 2005 Legions of Gotham forum member JokerINC was given some Batman merchandise for Xmas from a local dollar store. One such item was a bootleg pack of cards. These cards featured not only images of Batman, but the LoG logo as well! CLICK HERE to read the post in our forum. |

| Fans on LoG have a say in Mattel toys February 2006 A toy collector at the Action Figure Insider forum posed this question to Mattel: Question: "How much have customizers helped Mattel decide which figures to make? Has that happened when you look at a custom and say "That's a great idea with little to no retooling - let's make it?" Boy Wonder, the internet contact for the DC Superheroes 6" and JLU toylines had this to say: Answer: "In 2006 and 2007, the main influence for what figures to make has been your input on this site, as well as on the LOG (Legions Of Gotham) and ROC (Ring of Collectors) sites. I assume customizers have placed their input on these sites." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- LoG consults for the 2006 Batman Lego toyline December 2005 Legions of Gotham was invited to represent the Batman fan community in a summit at LEGO headquarters in Connecticut. Unfortunately, Matt could not make the meeting, but opted to send a staff member, Reideen1313, in his place. | LOG is vital for comic and book research! Over the years I've received a lot of email from various writers and artists that have utilized LOG in their research. Everything from mainstream comics to the DC Action Figure Archive to animated shows. I've decided to share a few with you below: Legions of Gotham owner and founder Matt MacNabb assisted in editing the Dc Comics Action Figure Archive for Scott Beatty. "And you thought the Batcave was filled with cool stuff! LEGIONS OF GOTHAM is the true headquarters for Bat-Info and all the latest lowdown on the Dark Knight, his allies, and his fiendish foes!" --Scott Beatty, Author of the DC COMICS ACTION FIGURE ARCHIVE "I found the Legions of Gotham site while I was photographing Batman action figures for the DC Comics Action Figure Archive. I had picked up over a hundred loose figures from the offices and most were either unnamed or misnamed and virtually all were missing accessories. I found this site loaded with the information I needed." --Marc Witz, Photographer of the DC COMICS ACTION FIGURE ARCHIVE --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "I first visited Legions of Gotham when doing research for my first BATMAN STRIKES script, and it provided immeasurable help. But I've been coming back because the people who post here are good-natured Batfans who are genuinely excited about their favorite caped hero and his many adventures." --Russell Lissau, Writer on the Batman Strikes! "When I got the opportunity to write The Batman Strikes! I had limited exposure to the cartoon or the comic. I needed a resource to get me up to speed on both, and Legions of Gotham was the site that helped me the most. I couldn't have landed the job without LoG.” --Jai Nitz, writer on the Batman Strikes comic “I’ve found the perfect reference site for my next Batman book! In fact, every true Batman fan should have this site bookmarked!” --Michael Anthony Steele, writer of The Batman & Krypto Scholastic books |
| Since this time, LOG has been found on more playing cards and other various bootleg merchandise, including these cool stickers from China: |
