Gaiam Vivendi Entertainment, a Division of Gaiam Inc., Adds All-New Slate Of Globally Recognized Properties To Existing Digital Distribution Deal

NEW YORK, November 13, 2012 – Gaiam Vivendi Entertainment (GVE), a leading distributor of entertainment and lifestyle media, announced a significant expansion of its current digital license agreement with DHX Media, a leader in the creation, production and marketing of animated and live-action children’s television programming. 

The three year agreement is a renewal of its existing partnership between the two entertainment groups. GVE will continue to have digital distribution rights to 33 properties in the DHX Media library, and will add 29 new properties to the slate, totaling 62 unique properties and 1,349 pieces of content that will be released in the U.S.
 
Gaiam Vivendi Entertainment will release a wide variety of family-favorite television programming, featuring some of the world’s most recognizable characters such as Inspector Gadget, Super Mario Bros., Madeline, Strawberry Shortcake, Paddington Bear, and many more. DHX Media is one of the world’s leading independent entertainment and consumer products companies, and GVE will work in new and exciting ways to expand the brand and its content to reach families nationwide through its digital distribution.
