About the Book: You may think that you know everything there is to know about the Dark Knight of Gotham City, but how much do you really know? With topics that cover the entire Batman franchise, you'll have to swoop into every fight, scene, and exchange in order to beat this trivia challenge.

Our Take: We're huge Batman fans here at the Legion.  I feel that I have a good amount of Batman trivia knowlege, but this book really challenged me.  This little softcover book gives over 800 questions spanning 250 pages!  This is a great book for any Bat-Fan to test their skills.  This one would be fun to take on road trips, or just have on you for casual reading.

If you really want to prove that you're a Bats expert, get ready to put your skills to the test with questions like:

  • Which superhero did Batman know as a child?
  • Why was the caped crusader entrusted with Kryptonite?
  • What tools would appear in the utility belts of both Batman and a modern law enforcer?
The ultimate test of fandom, this book is guaranteed to challenge even the greatest Bruce Wayne fan!

The Dark Knight Rises DVD / Blu-Ray Release Sizzle Reel

The Dark Knight Rises" is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy. It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive. Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act. But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar with a mysterious agenda. Far more dangerous, however, is the emergence of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile. But even if he dons the cape and cowl again, Batman may be no match for Bane.

Dynamic duo builds Batcave out of 20,000 Lego pieces

When it comes to expansive Batman and Lego creations, most of us are content to stick to the video game offerings.

But Carlyle Livingston II and Wayne Hussey have taken things a giant leap forward, creating a spectacular replica of the Batcave using more than 20,000 individual Lego pieces.

The pair debuted the creation at the 2012 Emerald City Comicon. They uploaded several dozen photos and three videos to Flickr detailing the construction of the cave, home to the comic-book character Batman. In the photos you can also see some of their other creations, including several "Star Wars"-themed spaceships.
The Brothers Brick site notes that it took Livingston and Hussey more than 800 hours to assemble the 20,000 pieces, with the final model weighing more than 100 pounds.

Their Batcave even comes with its own lighting and a rotating turntable at the center of the cave. The Laughing Squid site notes that a single battery powers the entire Lego Batcave, wired to several different lighting sources, including Christmas and flash lights.

'Batman' charged with obstructing Michigan police

Of course it was Batman...its ALWAYS some goof dressed as Batman.  Never Wolverine..never Green Lantern..hope its Batman.  sigh.

PETOSKEY, Mich. (AP) — The search for a driver who fled an accident scene in northern Michigan over the weekend was apparently a job for a dog, not a bat.

State troopers arrested 33-year-old Mark Wayne Williams because they say he refused to leave them alone after he showed up Saturday night wearing a Batman outfit.

"He wouldn't clear the scene, and we had a canine out there and he kept screwing up the scent," State Police Sgt. Jeff Gorno told the Petoskey News-Review ( ). "He said he wanted to help us look for the driver."

"We didn't want the dog to track Batman instead of the accident scene, and he was getting in the way of officers who had a job to do," the sergeant said.

Williams wasn't carrying any dangerous weapons, but his costume and gear were confiscated, Gorno said. He was charged with resisting and obstructing police in an investigation, and he posted bond and was released from the county jail. He is due back in court Oct. 18.

A call to a number listed as Williams' Petoskey home rang unanswered Wednesday.
It's not Williams' first brush with the law as the caped crusader.

He was arrested last year after police received a report of a man dressed as Batman on the roof of a Petoskey business. When officers arrived, they found Williams, dressed as Batman and carrying a baton-type striking weapon, a can of chemical irritant spray and a pair of sand-filled gloves.

He pleaded guilty to one count of attempted resisting and obstructing a police officer and was sentenced to six months of probation during which he was forbidden to wear costumes, including his Batman get-up.
Williams said at the time that he never intended to harm anyone.
